The scourge of contraception

Artificial contraception constitutes the single most effective war against humanity. It's power to ensare the unsuspecting victim is comparable only to Tolkien's one ring. The inscription on the ring read; 

One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,

One ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them.

The introduction of the contraceptive pill brought with it great spiritual warfare whose effects are being felt in many nations today. Countries such as Russia, Japan etc have effectively contracepted themselves to the point where couples are paid to have children. The looming demographic is a worse weapon of mass destruction (WMD) than a nuclear bomb. Many nations face the real threat of not being able to replace their own populations in the near future. This would appear to be what Our Lady of Fatima meant when she said "various nations will be annihilated".

A Homily on Artificial Contraception

In the Genesis account of creation, the man only started living after Almighty God had breathed into him the breadth of life. Life is inseparable from God, this is why Jesus said "I am the Life, the Truth and the Way". When a couple makes a decision to bar the possibility of life from their union, they also bar Him who is life from binding them into one flesh. Contracepted sex has the potential to hurt the spouses, drive them apart and create chaos in their marriage to a point where both are confused and do not know how to mend their relationship. Divorce thus is a natural consequence of such a union. Sex is an icon of God, it is the only activity where the two participate in the creative power of God. He is among them and with them and they are in Him, their fights are the growing pains of love and will not last. Archbishop Fulton Sheen once said that when a man knocks on the door of a brothel, he is in fact looking for Cathedral.

You should know the truth and the Truth will set you free

Sex is holy and has a two-fold role in the lives of people, first of these is to say to Almighty God "behold I am thine, be it done to me according to thy will" and second for the comfort and growing in love for the couple. To remove the primary role is to destroy the unitive power of sex. The whole act is a reproductive dance that culminates with an act of giving of self and an act of anticipated reception.

The repercussions

The re-defining of sex to an act of selfish physical gratification with an assured sterility between two consenting adults, gave rise to the rise of gay marriages;

The legalising of such drugs requires a failsafe option should the drugs fail. This came in the form of abortion on demand and the murder of the innocent;

Young people used to get married so they could start having sex, but since the dawn of contraception that is not a factor any more so pre-marital sex became socially accepted and desirable;

The wholesale availability of sex even to the un-married removed the desire for marriage and thus co-habitation naturally takes the place of marriage ... we just try and if it doesn't work we get someone else and try with them;

The number of babies plummeted and with it the prices of goods, inflation and taxation increased since now there are fewer customers and workers respectively;

So what now ...

To deny the Will of Almighty God has dire consequences for humanity because His commands are made for love and in love. His greatest blessings had always been that I will make your nation flourish and I will make your offsprings as the grains of sand.
